I started racing bikes at the age of 10 competing in flat track and motocross. I won numerous Club and State Titles and placed top 3 in Australian Titles.

In 1989 at the age of 22 I progressed to road racing and instantly started winning races. I won the Australian round of the Suzuki Gold Cup and went to the world final in Spain and came in equal 1st but was relegated to second on a time count back.
Due to my result in Spain I received a factory ride for Suzuki Malaysia to race in the 1990 Malaysian Super bike Championship. After 2 seasons on the Suzuki I moved to the Factory Kawasaki Team in Malaysia and won the Malaysian Super bike Championship  for the next two years.

In 1992 & 1993 I raced for Team Red Baron in the Suzuka 8 Hour race in Japan finishing in the top 20 both years and in 1994 I was invited to ride for the Factory Kawasaki Team and unfortunately on the night before the race I unfortunately had to with draw from the race. The team went on to finnish 12th.

In 1994 I signed to ride in the Australian Super bike Championship for Team Kawasaki Australia. It was a disappointing year for me finishing 8th in the Championship as I struggled with bike setup all year.

At the end of 1994 I retired from racing and on the 6th May 1996 I purchased Centrestand Motorcycles in Wollongong. Over the years the business has grown considerably due to our staff enthusiasm, product knowledge and customer service. I now look forward to many more good years in business helping and passing on my knowledge to our valued customers.
